    Norman是当今乐坛颇受欢迎的一位爵士乐吉他演奏者，八岁时，接触到Jimi
Hendrix 便决定往后要靠吉他吃饭；受父亲影响接触到卫斯。蒙哥马利之后又将
兴趣转向爵士乐。高中毕业后Norman前往洛杉矶的Musician's Institute钻研音
乐同时也开始组团在俱乐部里表演。接下来九○年代Norman Brown加入Motown唱
片开始发行专辑，《Just Between Us 》、《After The Storm 》、《Better Days
Ahead 》都是这时期的作品。加入华纳唱片后则陆续推出《Celebration 》、《
Just Chillin》。他的演奏简洁、利落，并配以少量的弦乐伴奏，在作品中时而
会有着名歌手、乐手的加盟。Norman的吉他演奏风格与Wes Montgomery和George
Benson十分相像。
