这首歌是Nightwish夜愿在1999年发行的单曲CD中的第1首歌曲，并多次收录在其后发行的专辑中，尤其以2005年发行的双CD专辑《highest hopes》中收录的《sleeping sun(2005 version)》最为凄美感人。

感觉东西方女歌手的不同挺大的，东方女歌手的演绎往往总是情长情短，很少有叙事宏大的

夜愿乐队是芬兰的一直很著名的女生哥特摇滚乐队，她的歌曲都很大气，很有旋律，我很喜欢这样的歌曲，还有一个和他差不多的乐队叫海妖乐队，也是很厉害的哥特摇滚乐队！:excellence

还是比较喜欢以前的主唱塔丽娅，现在的主唱安妮塔现场能力实在是太差，如果对比以前的现场，唉。。。。。连〈NEMO〉都唱不上去，实在无语了

夜愿的歌总是给人一种恬静而又有激情的感觉，宁静中有爆发力 突然的爆发给人很大的震撼
