Intro：Brandi Carlile生于1981年6月1，是来自美国华盛顿的歌手及作曲人。Carlile的音乐风格十分丰富，包括流行，摇滚，另类乡村，民谣及独立音乐。
Give Up the Ghost是Carlile的第三张专辑，该专辑将于2009年10月6日由哥伦比亚公司发行。该专辑由格莱美得奖者Rick Rubin制作，Elton John参与并创作了歌曲'Caroline'。该唱片在洛杉矶的Sunset Sound完成了录制，Chad Smith，Amy Ray和Benmont Tench同样参与了该专辑的制作。
